ACT! by Sage for Financial professionals System Requirements

Important Note: In a shared environment, ACT! by Sage for Financial Professionals 10.0 is designed to work with up to 10 users. If you intend to use workgroup functionality or share a database with more than 10 users, you must purchase ACT! by Sage Premium for Financial Professionals 10.0. You must purchase one license of ACT! per user. All minimum system requirements are based on a single user environment. Please see www.act.com/2008systreq for recommended server system requirements for environments of more than one user. Customer registration and activation are required in order to use this software. Your system must meet the minimum system requirements. Technical support is not available for users who do not meet the minimum system requirements. Additionally, Sage Software no longer supports Windows 2000 or Office 2000.

  • Microsoft® Windows® XP Home (Service Pack 2), XP Professional (Service Pack 2), Windows XP Media Center (Service Pack 2), Server 2003 Standard Edition, Server 2003 Enterprise Edition, Server 2003 Web Edition, 2003 Small Business Server operating systems (all Server 2003 need Service Pack 2), Microsoft Windows VistaTM Home Basic, Vista Home Premium, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, Vista Enterprise.
  • Minimum 600 MHz Pentium III (or equivalent) processor
  • Minimum 512 MB RAM
  • Minimum on Vista and Recommended on XP: 1.8 GHz Pentium IV (or equivalent) processor
  • Minimum on Vista and Recommended on XP: 1 GB RAM

Note: Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Enterprise, and Vista Ultimate editions limit the number of concurrent users to 10.
